The mission of the Escondido Education Foundation (EEF) is raising funds to support innovative learning in Escondido's public K-8 schools.

Over 18,000 students study in 23 public schools in Escondido - 17 elementary, 5 middle and the Nicolaysen Community Day School.

Founded in 2004, the Escondido Education Foundation emerged to meet a need for new connections in the community to support the highest quality of education in the Escondido Union School District. The foundation works with the district, members of the community, and donors to identify and support promising practices that benefit students in measurable ways.

At this time, the Foundation does not accept unsolicited requests for funding, although we actively seek to share information and to collaborate. If you have questions or ideas about programs that need support, feel free to contact us.

Our Board of Directors meets monthly.  If you are interested in serving on the Board, let us know. We have a process to explore how we can work together most effectively. Also, the Foundation has several committees for which it welcomes volunteers with time and ideas to share.
