The mission of the Escondido Education Foundation (EEF) is  raising funds to support innovative learning in Escondido's public K-8 schools.

Escondido Union School District serves 18,500 students in 23 schools - 17 elementary, 5 middle, and the Nicolaysen Community Day School.

Founded in 2004, the Escondido Education Foundation emerged to meet a need for new connections in the community to support the highest quality of education in the Escondido Union School District.

The foundation works with the school district, members of the community and donors to identify and support promising practices that benefit students in measurable ways.

Our Board of Directors meets monthly.  If you are interested in Board service, let us know. We have a process to explore how we can work together most effectively.

Our staff works full time in donated office space at the school district main offices, the Carilyn Gilbert Education Center. We would be happy to meet with you at our offices or yours. Let's talk!
