A New Year, a New Promise

While it's still a new idea to donate privately to a group that supports public schools, the world is changing fast in some areas (like public financing for schools) while other things remain the same (like the need of each child to receive a personalized learning experience to develop his or her potential.) There are many things we cannot change, but it is within our power as individuals and companies to choose to invest in one of most fundamental parts of our democratic society - our public schools. Why? First, because by far, they still educate the vast majority of young Americans. Second, school districts like EUSD are becoming increasingly dynamic, which means your donated dollar will have the greatest impact on the largest number of young people.

At this time the Escondido Education Foundation does not support general operational expenses of the Escondido Union School District. We raise every dollar that we contribute to annual programs selected for their innovative nature and effectiveness, and we are building an endowment for long-term sustainability. You have choices about which of these two forms your support can take. Click on those pages in the column to the left for more details. If you have any questions about these options, please contact us.

Please consider making a donation today. Use the safe PayPal button below or this form which you can print out and mail in. Thank you!

Many Hands

Many Hands is a program by which EUSD employees make monthly contributions to the Foundation through their paychecks. Thank you to everyone who participates in this program, which significantly increases the funds the Foundation distributes.

Thanking EEF Donors and Volunteers

In August 2011, the Vista Moonlight Foundation enabled EEF to invite our volunteers and donors to enjoy Hairspray, the musical under the stars with EEF, their friends, family and other supporters. It was a beautiful evening - thank you to the Moonlight Foundation, everyone who helped at the event, and everyone who came!
